Human Library

I recently read an article about this idea of a human library where people who are often questioned are “books” and uncommon pairs have the opportunity for conversation.

Oftentimes, people are either scared to ask questions and learn about different experiences and perspectives or ask invasive questions at the wrong time. This seems to give the opportunity for healthy conversation with boundaries.

Instead of googling, this offers a way to connect with people. There are obviously things that could improve with this so as to not make one person speak for a whole group, but I think making this something that can be brought to schools and businesses would make the community feel that much more tight-knit.
