Boost

I want to share my opinion on Boost and supplements and how they have helped me in my recovery and relationship with food. This tends to be a very controversial topic but I want to share my experience with it.

When in recovery, I decided to supplement if I was not finishing my meals. My top priority was to get all the nutrients and energy I needed for the day. When the eating was too much, I had a plan B. As I progressed in recovery, I started weaning off supplements but still rely on them for off days. Of course, my dietician was aware of this and made sure I was still getting everything I needed.

Supplements can be a stepping stone to recovery and there is nothing wrong with relying on them. Support can show up in many different ways.

If I didn’t have boost, I wouldn’t be able to fuel myself the way I do today.
