My Accommodations

I thought I would share some things that I have as accommodations at my college. The first being a single room. This is helpful because not only do I have a 50lbs dog living with me, but I also have all her gear to bring too. I also have a room on the ground level so that it is easier to go outside and let Cassie relieve herself. I’m on a floor with an accessible bathroom aswell.

I get to register for classes slightly earlier so that I can make sure I don’t end up with classes during lunch period as it is important in my recovery to maintain my meal plan.

I also get extended time on tests if needed, and have the opportunity to let my professors know about Cassie, my service dog, beforehand.
