How Does My Dog Use the Restroom?

This is a common question I get that is always a little funny to me. Cassie goes to the restroom like any other dog! But I think what people are more curious about is how I handle taking her out and whatnot.

Cassie goes potty on command (aka I tell her to go potty and she does). I generally will take Cassie’s vest off so that she is reassured that she’s off-duty and is allowed to use the restroom. She is of course house broken, but if there is a patch of fake grass inside the airport designated for animals to relieve themselves, I’ll tell her to go potty and she will.
